Curiosities

• In one episode Tim and Mikem hits bicyklist with their car. This scene is parody to similiar scene from Sixth sence (1999). (HellFire)


• Series is full of parodies on many films: trilogy Star Wars, Shining (1980), The Evil Dead (1981), Evil Dead II (1987), Scooby-Doo (2002), A-Team (1983), 2001: Space odyssey (1968), Matrix (1999), Fly over the cuckoo nest (1975), Taxidriver (1976) and Pulp Fiction (1994). (HellFire)


• Peter Serafinowicz, which plays Duane Benzie, dubbed Darth Maul in film Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999). (HellFire)


• Seventh episode of first season had to beginning by the conversation Timwith Lara Croft from computer game Tomb Raider but staff didn't get allowed to use this character. Lara was replaced by agent Dan Scully from series X-files (1993) and stuff even conciders about playing this character by Gillian Anderson. • In third episode of first series plays Tim under drugs 24 hours in row Resident Evil which brings halucinations – Tim thinks that zombies are attaking people. That scene was inspirative to fimed Shaun of the dead (2004). (HellFire)


• Edgar Wright wasn't pleased by casting Nick Frost in the role of Mike because Frost has been working as a barkeeper. (HellFire)


• Channel 4 said yes to the second series before the series has been broadcasted. (HellFire)


• Music band which plays on last episode of the series is actually lead by father of Simon Pegg. (Ruuzha)
